Branch AGM February 14th
All members should have already received the branch annual report through the post. However, if you haven’t, it’s possible we don’t have your current home address on file. Please do let the branch know if this is the case.
Contained within the report, on its back page, you will discover the invitation to our forthcoming Annual General Meeting. This year, the AGM is scheduled to take place this Wednesday 14th February, at the Royal Wells Hotel, located at 159 Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells TN4 8BE. The meeting is set to commence promptly at 19:30 and will conclude within two hours.
As per the standard agenda for AGMs, there will be various items of business, including elections for vacant posts, a financial report, propositions to conference, and an open forum to address any questions or concerns you may have.
In addition to our usual proceedings, we are delighted to announce that we will be joined by a distinguished guest from Head Office, Karen Rose.
Currently serving as the President of the union, Karen will soon take on the role of Deputy General Secretary (Telecoms & Financial Services). This role involves leading negotiations on matters pertaining to Telecoms, among other responsibilities.
During the meeting, Karen will also have the honour of presenting a gold badge award to our former Branch Secretary, Chris Power, in recognition of his contributions to the union.
Refreshments will be provided for all attendees, so if you are in the local area, we warmly encourage you to join us. Your presence and participation will be greatly valued.
