CWU Elections for DGS(T&FS)

With Andy Kerr the current Deputy General Secretary for Telecoms and Financial Services – DGS (T&FS) advising that he will not be seeking re-election in 2024 an election was to be held to elect a new person to the role and allowing a suitable hand over period. He was looking to vacate the DGS (T&FS) position immediately following CWU Annual T&FS Industrial Conference in April 2024.

An election was held and the branch was approached by Karen Rose, seeking nomination for the role of DGS (T&FS). The branch had no reservations in nominating her.
